Burma Hill Climb!
As our esteemed President (and known Vashon fan), Teddy Roosevelt stated, “Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty… I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life.”
The hardest thing you’ll do all year. On day 1. The Burma Hill is an iconic PNW climb, featuring twists and turns, up and downs, and lung busting grades over its 1.4mile length. Start at the bottom, end at the top. Simple. Easy. Painful.
The men’s and women’s champions will be legends, earning a place on the Burma Cup, and having their success displayed in the shop for the rest of the year. Hail to the victors!
We are working on sponsors to provide prizes and raffles for all the brave souls who attend. $20 entry fee payable in cash or card day of will get you a custom Burma Hill Climb bandana and bragging rights over all your friends. Polar plunge to follow at noon!
New Year’s Day. 11:00am. Burma Road on Vashon Island. This is going to be terrible. I can’t wait.
