Vashon Dock to Dock - 15 Mile Run
Sunday, August 9, 2026 | Vashon Island, WA
One island. Two ferries. One unforgettable challenge.
Join us for the Vashon Dock to Dock 15 Mile Run, a point-to-point adventure across the length of Vashon Island. Starting at the South End Ferry Dock in Tahlequah and finishing at the North End Ferry Dock, runners will traverse scenic island roads, rolling hills, towering forests, and breathtaking Puget Sound views.
The route follows Vashon’s picturesque west side highway and features the legendary Burma Hill Climb, a challenging ascent that rewards runners with some of the most spectacular scenery on the island. The Vashon Dock to Dock Run offers a memorable test of endurance and grit, while experiencing Vashon Island from top to bottom.
Not ready to tackle all 15 miles yourself? Grab some friends and sign up for the 3-Person Team Relay, with each runner covering approximately five miles. The team member who volunteers to run the Burma Hill segment will receive a special Burma Hill Climb patch to commemorate their effort!
